If you're having trouble with apps not updating, opening or installing on your iPhone or iPad follow these steps to force a restart and app update.

1. Unlock your device so its on the home screen.

2. Hold down both the Sleep/Wake button (found on top of the iPad or older iPhones, newer iPhone's find it on the right), and the Home button for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

If you don't have a Home button (iPhone 10 or later), hold down the Volume Up and Sleep/Wake button for 10 seconds until the device restarts.

3. Wait for the device to restart, unlock it with your passcode and ensure it's connected to WiFi. Now leave it with the screen on to update for a few minutes. You may see additional apps appear or show they're updating during this time.

Important: don't open any apps during this time or else they can't update!

Still struggling? If it's an Oplift app you're installing, check your device is updated to a required version.

Finally, open a ticket with your company's IT team to get them to repush the app to you.
