Better learning, more review control, and smarter sign-in in this month’s release
Here’s a quick look at the latest improvements across the Ocasta platform. This month’s release brings sharper microlearning, more flexibility for Reviews, and a simpler sign-in experience for your teams — all designed to cut the guesswork and make frontline work smoother and more effective.
Reminder: New features released this month are available in the new Ocasta app only and will not appear in the Ocasta Review app. The Review app will continue to be supported until 15 April, but no new features will be added. We recommend switching to the Ocasta app as soon as possible.
A more personalised learning experience 🎓
Knowledge & Learning Hub
Learning just got a little smarter. Course creators can now set visibility by role and mark courses as Essential, Recommended, or Optional — so it’s easier for teams to focus on what matters most.

We’ve also updated how courses are displayed. Priority content stands out, with Essential courses shown first, then Recommended, then Optional. Everything else is listed alphabetically.
Completed and in-progress courses are always shown A to Z, making it easier to keep track and jump back in where you left off.
How can I target a course to specific user roles?
Smarter, more flexible reviews ✅
Inspections & Checklist Hub | Observation & Coaching Hub
You now have more control over who can carry out a review. Previously, you could only choose by user role. Now, Review Managers can set extra eligibility rules — like requiring someone to have been reviewed using a specific template within the last X months, and to have scored at least X% in their last review.

This adds a layer of quality control, making sure the right steps have happened before a review goes ahead.

Usernames in CSV exports 📊
Inspections & Checklist Hub | Observation & Coaching Hub
Usernames are now included in CSV exports to help you match people up more easily when working outside the platform. If you send data to external analytics tools, you’ll notice the file structure has changed slightly to support this.
