If a review template is not visible on the start page or in the Analytics reports, follow these steps to check your permissions and location-based settings.

1. Check Review Template Permissions

You need permission to view and or perform the review template in order to see it. If you do not have admin access please ask an admin user in your organisation to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the admin and go to Review > Review Templates.

  2. Select the template that you are unable to view.

  3. In the Permissions section on the right hand side of the page, ensure the correct user roles are selected for View and Perform permissions.

  4. Click Update to save any changes.

  5. Sometimes changes take time to appear in the front end. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in to see if the template is now visible.

If you still can’t view the template try the next step.

2. Check Location Type Settings (For Location-Based Reviews)

If the template is location based, ensure your location type to which the location you are assigned, is selected in the template settings:

  1. Go to Review > Review Templates, select the template.

  2. Locate the Types of Location section at the top.

  3. To check your assigned location type, go to Users in the side menu, find your user profile, and note the Location.

  4. Go to Locations in the side menu, find your location, and check its Location Type.

  5. If the template’s location type isn’t selected, update the template, select the correct type, and click Update.

  6. Again sometimes changes take time to appear. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in to see if the template is now visible.

If you want to view the template without listing your location or users within your location as an option for a review, you’ll need to adjust the roam permissions for your user. Please see the next step.

3. Adjust Roam Permissions

To view templates for all locations and users regardless of your assigned location type, you need to update your role’s roam permissions:

Please Note: Changing permissions for a user role affects all users with that role.

  1. Go to Users > Permissions in the side menu.

  2. Select Edit by Role and choose the role to update.

  3. In the permissions matrix, find Review Roam and select one of the following options:

    • None – Users can see reviews for their own location only.

    • Region – Users can see reviews for all locations and users within their region.

    • Everywhere – Users can see reviews for all locations and users.

  4. Click Save to apply changes.

Now go back to the start page or Analytics reports.

  • If you have permission to perform reviews, you should see the review template and start a review for locations or users based on your roam permissions.

  • If you have permission to view the review template, you should be able to filter and view it in Analytics, with data limited by your roam permissions.
