This month, in Ocasta Review, we’ve introduced role-based permissions for location access, replacing the previous roam setting on individual user profiles. We’ve added the option to roam within a region, offering more flexibility.
You can now share completed Reviews as PDFs in the app, making it easy to share Reviews with individuals who don’t have a Review account. Additionally, all dates in the Review app and on the web are now displayed in localised formats wherever you are in the world.
In Ocasta Engage, we have added a new feature that allows you to upload a CSV of usernames to bulk hand out kudos to, as well as the option to hide kudos from displaying in the Hall of Fame.

Review permission changes & Regional Roaming
We’re introducing a new Review Roam permission tied to user roles, offering more flexibility and control over the locations users can view in Review. Previously, access was managed per user with the Can Roam flag, which was limiting as it was an all-or-nothing approach and required manually controlling access for each user profile.
The new role-based permissions allow for more granular roaming options with the three following options.
None - Roam within their Location – Users can perform/view reviews and see analytics for their own location and users within their location.
Region - Roam within their Region – Users can perform/view reviews and see analytics for all locations and users within their region and any sub-regions.
Everywhere - View All Locations – Users can perform/view reviews and see analytics for all locations and users.
We have also simplified Review task permissions into two levels
Use – Users can manage their own tasks (view, close, and reopen) but can’t see others' tasks.
View – Users can see others' tasks based on their Review Roam setting.
Share PDF of a Review
You can now generate and share a PDF of a completed Review directly from the app. When you select this option, a preview of the PDF will open, displaying:
A summary at the top, including:
Review name
Completion date
Review subject
Overall score
A detailed breakdown below the summary, featuring:
Section-wise scores
Notes and photos added during the review
Any assigned tasks
This makes it easy to share Reviews with individuals who don’t have a Review account, ensuring they can access all insights without needing to log in.
Display dates in localised formats
Dates in Review, for example when a Review was completed, and on the Analytics page on the web will now follow your device’s location settings.

Bulk Kudos with CSV upload
Sending Kudos to a whole team is now even easier! Our Bulk Send Kudos feature has always allowed users with the right permissions to send kudos to multiple people at once. Now, we’ve added a new option, Bulk Upload, so instead of manually entering individual usernames, you can now upload a CSV file with a list of usernames to send Bulk Kudos in one simple step. All selected users will then receive a new Mystery Kudos, making team recognition faster and more efficient.
Optional Kudos visibility in Hall of Fame
If you are worried about cluttering the Hall of Fame when sending kudos in bulk, we’ve also introduced an option to create kudos that don’t appear in the Hall of Fame. This gives you full control over kudos visibility when sending them in bulk.
