What are Kudos?
Kudos are awards and encouragements that can be handed out by a member of staff to another member of staff in the same location.
How do I view my Kudos?
On the' You' page you can easily see if you have received any new Kudos and from there you can also give Kudos.
To see all of your Kudos, click on 'See All' on the right hand side of the Kudos section. From this page you'll also see 'Kudos Sent' next to the 'My Kudos' tab where you can see all the Kudos you have handed out, and the 'Hall of Fame'.
In the admin you can also choose to show the Kudos component on the 'Home' page on Engage. If you have received a new Kudos which is unopened this will display. If you have no unopened Kudos then you'll be able to see the two most recent opened Kudos.

The Hall of Fame shows all Kudos that have been handed out within your organisation. You can view 'Your Location', 'Your Region' or 'All'.
This is a great encouragement for employees to get involved and to hand out Kudos!
How do I create a Kudos?
Kudos can be created on the web only by anyone who has the 'manage kudos' permission. This is usually head office and managers. For example, you may want to create a kudos to hand out to employees when they have reached a certain milestone such as a sales target.
To create a Kudos go to the 'Manage' page
Select 'Create Kudos' in the Kudos section and you'll be directed to the Kudos creator

Enter a title for the Kudos
Select which roles can give out the Kudos. Select all roles or specific roles.
Choose a graphic. The default graphics are managed by Ocasta. Contact the Ocasta team if you'd like to use your own custom graphics for Kudos.
Check the preview to make sure you are happy with your new Kudos
You can either choose to 'Publish' the Kudos straight away or you can 'Save Draft'
How do I view all Kudos created?
To see all Kudos that have been created, go to the 'Manage' page and under Kudos select 'Edit Kudos', Here you will see all published, draft and archived Kudos listed. Select a Kudos to edit it.
How can I give Kudos?
You can give Kudos across all platforms.
If you have the Kudos send to anyone permission you will be able to give kudos to anyone within your organisation. If you have the send to my location permission, then you'll only be able to give Kudos to people in your location. These permissions are set against a role in the admin.
Got to the 'You' page and select 'Give Kudos' in the top right of the My Kudos section.
Filter by Location - if you have the send to anyone permission, you'll be able to select a location from the dropdown.
Select Recipient/s - begin to type the name of the person you want to award the kudos to in the entry box. You can search for them by their display name or username. Select the + button to add them. You'll be able to select multiple people if you'd like to hand the Kudos to more than one person.
Select the type of Kudos you would like to be awarded.
Add an additional message to explain in more detail why you have awarded them the Kudos.
When you have finished tap 'Send' in the top right 👍

Bulk send Kudos
If you have the Kudos bulk handout permission you'll be able to copy and paste a list of usernames so you can award Kudos to a large team more efficiently, without the need to search for everyone on the list. This is available on the web.
