New task features and improved search in latest release

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This month for Ocasta Review, we’ve made task management simpler with a new centralised view, smarter filters (including by review type), and CSV export. We’ve also added a new permission that lets users re-assign reviews without full admin access — handy for shared workflows.

On Ocasta Engage, search just got an upgrade. It’s now powered by AI to fix typos, surface related content, and help your team find what they need, fast.

For admins, there’s a new dashboard to keep things tidy and on track — from spotting inactive accounts to highlighting old content and showing what’s recently changed or coming up next.

Find out more below.

Ocasta Review

Making tasks simpler and smarter ✅

We’re starting a series of updates to make creating and tracking tasks more intuitive and efficient across the platform.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Improved task display

Tasks are now easier to view and manage, with a centralised display that brings all tasks into one place.

  • Smarter filters
New filter options help you quickly find and organise tasks based on what you need. You can now filter tasks by review type too, making things even more flexible.

  • CSV export
Need to dive deeper into task data? You can now export tasks to a CSV file and analyse them using your favourite tools.

This is just the beginning — we’ve got more task improvements coming in the next release, so keep an eye out.

A new re-assign permission 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Previously, the ability to re-assign reviews was bundled with full admin access. We’ve now separated this out. You can now give user roles the permission to re-assign a review without needing to give them admin access. If you need a hand updating permissions, just get in touch and we’ll walk you through it. This is useful if you want one team member to start a review, then another to finish it.

Smarter search to help you find what you need, faster 👀

We’ve improved how search works across articles and news items — so whether you’re after a process update or the latest internal comms, it’s easier to find the right info, right when you need it. This new search is powered by AI, so it’ll find related content, fix typos, and get your teams the answers they need. Please note, we will be enabling this over the next couple of weeks.

Platform

For admin users, there’s now a dashboard to help you stay on top of what matters — from your content to your users.

Spot inactive admin accounts 🔍🧑‍💼

You’ll see the five admin accounts that haven’t logged in for the longest time. It’s a quick way to tidy things up and deactivate old accounts, helping reduce your security risk.

Keep your content fresh ♻️📰

Older news or alerts can stick around longer than they should. We’ll highlight the ones that look out of date so you can archive or refresh them. For articles, you’ll see the oldest ones first — just review or update them to remove them from the list.

Get a clear view of what’s happening 📊👀

Your dashboard also gives you a quick snapshot of recent activity: published or updated content like Review templates, internal comms, articles and alerts. Plus, a look ahead at what’s scheduled to go live soon.
