This month in Ocasta Review, we’ve introduced a new date & time insight, email notifications for task assignments, improved offline access for reviews, and initial improvements to location management.

In Ocasta Engage, Kudos messages can now be up to 1,000 characters long, and CSV export names have been made clearer and more descriptive.

In this release we’re introducing a new Insight type; Date & Time. You can configure the insight to either capture both Date and Time, or Date only. There will be a quick way of setting it to the current Date & Time or users can manually enter a specific Date/Time if that is what is needed.

We’re pleased to introduce email notifications for task assignments which has been a highly requested enhancement. When a review is submitted, any users assigned tasks within that review will now receive a separate email notification for each task. These emails make it simple to jump straight into the task from your inbox, whether you're using the app or the web.

Please note account owners can turn these emails on or off in the admin settings if you’d prefer not to receive them within your organisation. By default they will be turned off so if you would like them to be turned on please contact support@ocasta.com.

Analytics reports on the web now support multiple languages, including English (UK and US), Arabic, French, Spanish, Icelandic, and Swedish. This is part of our ongoing effort to make our platform accessible and user-friendly, no matter where you're located.

We’re also rolling out improvements to the way you manage locations. As a first step, we’re making the location identifier more prominent when creating a location, and it now needs to be unique.

In future releases, we'll use this identifier to support updating existing locations through imports, making location management faster and more efficient.

You can now access both “My Completed Reviews” and Search results while offline. Reviews will be available offline only if they’ve been loaded into the list while you were online. For example, if you open “My Completed Reviews” and scroll to the bottom, all loaded reviews will remain accessible offline until you log out.

Similarly, any reviews you load via the Search page will also be viewable offline, but please note that search results are stored for up to 7 days only.

Kudos messages can now be up to 1,000 characters long, giving you the space to fully express your appreciation and recognise great work in more detail.

We've improved the naming conventions for CSV exports to make them more descriptive and useful. This means it’s much easier to identify your downloaded files at a glance.
