In this release, we've focused on improving task management across the web and mobile platforms while introducing new insight types to streamline your workflows in Review. Here’s a summary of the key updates:
Task Management Improvements ✅
In this release, we've focused on enhancing task management, both on the web and in our mobile apps. Here’s a summary of the key updates:
New Dedicated Tasks Page
We’ve launched a new Tasks page, accessible on both the web and mobile apps. While tasks will still appear on the Review homepage, you can now navigate to the full Tasks page for a more detailed view and additional task management features. This centralised area simplifies how you view and manage all your tasks in one place.
View All Tasks You've Created
Previously, you could only see tasks that were assigned to you. With this update, you can now view all tasks you have created. This makes it simpler to track the progress, check the status, and ensure completion of tasks you’ve initiated. This feature is available on both the web and mobile apps, accessible through the new Tasks page.
Quick Close Option Removed
Based on user feedback, we’ve removed the quick close option for tasks. The circle icon previously used to quickly mark tasks as complete or closed led to accidental clicks, causing confusion. Now, to mark a task as complete, you’ll need to select the task and select to mark the task as complete, reducing errors.
Reviews in Progress Relocated 📝
As part of the updates to task management, reviews in progress reporting have moved to the Analytics page (web only). In the new “Current Activity” section, you can find a comprehensive list of all reviews in progress, with visibility limited to the reviews you have permission to access.
New Insight Types
Continuing our efforts from last month, we’ve introduced two more insight types to enhance data collection and reporting:
Pick a Person 👩
You can now create insights that allow reviewers to select a user from a predefined list, based on location or multiple locations (depending on permissions). For example, you could use this feature to answer questions like “Who is the store manager?”
Signature Capture ✍️
We’ve also added the ability to capture signatures directly within insights. Users can sign using their finger (mobile) or mouse (web) and then select whose signature was captured from a list. This is useful for tasks requiring formal acknowledgement or confirmation.
