In Engage, we've improved the My Reading section on the You page, providing a clearer view of your reading history. New Insight Types

We have introduced the following:

  1. Percentage Insights
You can now enter percentage values directly, making it easier to track key metrics such as Conversion Rate or Net Promoter Score during store visits, as an example.

  1. Enhanced Yes/No Insights
We've added flexibility to Yes/No insight types by allowing you to designate "No" as the positive response, scoring 100%. This eliminates the need to reword certain questions and ensures you can accurately capture data where "No" represents a favourable outcome.

The new features will be rolled out over a 7-day period. We recommend waiting one week before using the new insight types to ensure full functionality.

Please make sure your users are on the latest version of the app to access these new features. We've added a prompt within the app to remind users to update if needed.

Engage

Enhanced ‘My Reading’ Section on You Page

In last month's release we added your own ‘My Reading’ section on the You page, which shows you articles and news you have read recently. We have enhanced this further so you can now easily see your reading history by selecting either Articles or News , and view a comprehensive list of content you've read recently. Additionally, you'll be able to see the first and last read dates for each item, giving you a clearer picture of your reading activity.

Pulse - Track the Performance of Your News Posts

We’ve added a new report in the News Content reporting section, called Pulse, which is accessible through the Manage page on the web. Pulse offers detailed insights into the performance of your news posts.

With Pulse, you can:

  • View the total unique reads for a selected news post since publication.

  • Analyse readership trends with a visual graph that displays read counts separated into 15-minute or 1 hour intervals.

This report helps you make data-driven decisions, allowing you to optimise the timing of your news posts for maximum engagement.

First Read Date and Time for Content Reporting

We have added an important update to our content reporting for News and Articles, which can be accessed on the Manage page on the web, available to users with the appropriate permissions.

We are introducing the First Read Date and Time in the following reports:

  • Who Viewed a News Item

  • Who Viewed an Article

Customer feedback has emphasised the significance of tracking first read dates for compliance purposes. This enhancement will provide greater transparency about content engagement.
